Mini Grants Awarded - March 2026
1) Dell Rapids Society for Historic Preservation - $300 - To present a free public concert by Constellation Scandinavian Music on August 8th at the Dell Rapids Museum.
2) Caleb Cushing Society, Children of the American Revolution - $1,000 - Print 1000 children’s genealogy workbooks for researching family ancestry. For distribution at schools and community events as well as to members.
3) Washington Pavillion Management, Inc. - $1,000 - Help with costs of hosting the traveling exhibition: “Barbie: A Cultural Icon” at the Visual Arts Center, June 8 - September 26, 2026.
4) Brookings Regional Growth Alliance - $531 - Community Mosaic Mural Unveiling - Rental of a giant flag to hang at Main Ave. & 6th St. for a week prior to the June 4th ceremony.
